Hi! I'm William York, a Biomedical Engineering Major at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, and this is a page on a little bit about me.
Me
If you want to learn more about me, see below to find out a little bit on:
I was born on October 8th, 2000, in Worcester, MA. Worcester, MA
My parents are Amy Yang and Ian York, both of whom work in immunology in various places throughout their lives.
In 2005, we moved from Massachusettes to East Lansing, MI where dad would work as a research assistant professor and my mom would work as a post-doctoral fellow.
There, I went to Cornell Elementary from 1rst-4th grade, before we made our next and final move in 2010 to Atlanta, GA.
Here, I went to Henderson Middle School, then Lakeside High School, and finally, and currently, Georgia Tech.
In general, I think that I'm interested in a lot of things that help make me better all around. However, this doesn't mean I am a renaissance man by any means, and I still have my preferences.
These are more things I do for fun in small amounts, and don't have time or really just the passion to do more in depth and rigorously.
These side-interests include a little bit drawing, playing piano and cello, programming, fitness, the outdoors, animals, travel, and some TV shows (but not a ton).
My interests within school, academics, and corresponding to my career are much fewer in number, but nonetheless take up more time.
